About Us - Our Story
Reserve Meats, Inc. was founded to solve a problem: Day after Day we visited the grocery store only to find good beef offered at increasingly-more-expensive-prices; this seemed to us, just wrong, but something we could fix. We now aim to deliver the highest-quality American beef directly to consumers at prices lower than anyone thought possible, AT-SCALE—something no one else has ever done. While the rest of the industry trades in empty platitudes and marketing fluff (and simply lying to you most of the time), we focus on beef of the highest-quality, sold at tiny margins, all backed-up by signed (current) detailed affidavits by every family-ranch Owner-Operator. We do this because we’re smart. That’s our secret. We’re smart people who believe in America and have masterful expertise in cattle and scalable systems.
Our company is family-owned by two people; The owner of the Lucky 7 Angus Ranch in Wyoming, and separately our CEO whose expertise spans high-volume-customer, enterprise-scale, direct-to-consumer operations over 30 years. Together we bring into union decades of cattle experience and strategic distribution know-how from other industries, a combination that has created we believe, a perfect complement of insight and execution. From our Live cattle to case-ready boxed beef, Reserve Meats has the expertise in every-facet of the operation, including relationships, to deliver on its mission.
Over the past decades, American Wagyu producers invested heavily in cultivating exceptional cattle, only to be undercut by cheaper international imports. Where others saw disruption, we saw an opportunity. We built a proprietary network to buy and own these cows at the source-family-ranch—live and committed—and deliver them directly to American homes. The last-mile solution remains a work in progress but we today are testing a number of solutions that do not require us "shipping beef in the mail," which is a losing proposition.
We take pennies today for the bigger picture: building a proprietary system with acceptable margins, that offers unmatched value without compromising quality and will thrive for generations in any economic climate. Most of our business in early 2026 remains B2B, but we are rapidly expanding our direct-to-consumer platform, aiming to bring premium beef to every table, efficiently and
